Q.1 How much specification is necessary for the air compressor? (recommended capacity and product)
A.1 A compressor with at least 3 horsepower or above is recommended for a certain degree of continuous work. 5 horsepower or above is highly recommended for professional users and heavy users. As close to maximum capacity as possible is preferred since it is a machine for heavy air consumption.


Q.2 How much baking soda to be used?
A.2 Approximately 330g (11.6oz) per minute is average usage, and adjustable range is about 100g to 1,000g (3.52oz to 35.2oz). Please apply appropriately to the material and its condition. Also please control the speed of the adjustment knob according to the condition of the media and remaining amount in the tank.


Q.3 How to solve when the media does not come out stably?
A.3 If in the case of clogged, neither air nor the media will emerge. It happens with any of the following conditions; the media in the tank becomes less, supply to the suction shaft is not stable, or circulation is poor around the converging section of the nozzle due to unbalanced flow rate of the media and air. First of all, please try adjusting the machine setting for flow rate of the media and air. Turn fully the gold knob at the top of the tank clockwise to the maximum flow. And gradually turn back the knob to a point where the media injects cleanly and continuously. If it does not work, probably the media in the tank becomes less, or the media is hardened by moisture. Then, please swing/ shake/ jounce gently the tank, or take the media out and sift it. It does not suck up unless the media inside the tank collapses by its own weight and goes to the shaft. 4kg or 5kg (8.8lb or 11lb) media does not collapse by its own weight, so you may need to shake the tank often.


Q.4 Is it possible to remove paint or coating film on car body?
A.4 It is possible to peel off the paint film of the car, however, it is not suitable to remove a thick coating film or hard surface efficiently. It is because the hardness of the media for EZ Blust is kind of low. Applying to one hood as an example is not realistic in terms of cost, time, and the media consumption. In such a case, we recommend to use EZ Blust in combination with a paint remover. Once the coating becomes softer by the remover, spray to the surface to peel it off.


Q.5 What are necessary items to prepare for using EZ Blust?
A.5 A water faucet with at least normal water pressure and a compressor are needed.


Q.6 Is it possible to work without damaging the base material when removing sticky gaskets or carbon from combustion chamber of the disassembled engine?
A.6 It is the best use for especially inside of the engine and carburetor, and there is the low risk of change in volume since the base material will not be damaged. Also, there is no concern on residue because of water-soluble media. Alumina or glass beads even a small amount of residue may scratch the inside of the engine, however, a small amount of baking soda will eventually melt even mixed with oil and gasoline. Please note that removal of gaskets may be difficult depending on the material and condition.


Q.7 Do you offer wholesaling?
A.7 Sorry, we do not offer wholesaling to anyone for an order of 1 to 4 units.


Q.8 Does water flow back to the media ejection line by the switching nozzle of dry and wet? Also by moisture at the tip of the nozzle, will the media effect to get clogged?
A.8 Only the case, which you open the valve of the media regulator with no pressure in the tank and close the outlet of the nozzle, will be causing flow backwards. We recommend you to clean well as it will cause the media stick when moisture left on the nozzle tip after use.


Q.9 Do you have composition diagram?
A.9 Sorry, we do not have. Please let me list up components; EZ Blust main body, compressor, air hose from the compressor to EZ Blust, water tap, water hose, and WET nozzle.


Q.10 What is a recommended way of storage the media when not in use?
A.10 It is not a problem to keep the media in the tank if the valve is closed and for a short period. On the other hand, it is better to transfer the media to a plastic bag and seal it to protect from moisture and dew-fall for storing a longer period.


Q.11 Is it possible to clean BBQ iron plates?
A.11 Definitely yes, it is good for BBQ iron plates. But it is not good for a certain type of grid depending on the material at like BBQ/grill shops because surface plating may be peeled off.


Q.12 Is it possible to remove dirt on the surface of wood?
A.12 Yes, it can also be used cleaning the surface of wood. But it may roughen the surface. If you use dry and wet switching properly, subsequent process may be easier. Baking soda due to low Mohs hardness makes this possible.


Q.13 How much MPa is preferred?
A.13 Around 0.6 MPa is recommended. It is possible to work at around 0.4 MPa if you use it well. Please note that safety valve opens when exceeding 1 MPa.


Q.14 How much the baking soda media should be put in the tank?
A.14 You can fill up to three quarters (about 20kg/ 44lb) if you are working continuously. Ideally 10kg (22lb) should be added each time the media runs out.


Q.15 Should I use it in a closed room/space when using it with the dry setting?
A.15 It is not necessary, but please consider the surrounding environment since powder dust scatters.


Q.16 Is it possible to use the baking soda media once again which is used?
A.16 It is not possible to use again in case of Wet blow because of water-soluble media. It can be reused in case of Dry blow inside of a cabinet, however, capability of cleaning will be dropped.


Q.17 Can I use other media such as alumina or glass beads?
A.17 Please do not use other media because it could cause malfunction. The product warranty will not cover damage from using media other than what is specified.


Q.18 Is it possible to remove/peel paint on plastic parts of a vehicle? If possible, how much damage the plastic base material may get?
A.18 It is suitable for peeling off paint on resin parts such as complicated parts, or concavo-convex shape which will disappear by sandpaper. Peeling can be well done when blowing wet with a proper distance of the nozzle. It would suppress bleeding of the wax component from the resin surface when it is treated with a thinner or a low solvent remover.

Q.19 Is the a small cabinet suitable for EZ-40-SX?
A.19 Please device and adjust a general-purpose item by your own.


Q.20 Do I need to raise the water pressure when supply water from the tap water?
A.20 No, you don't need if a faucet provides at least normal water pressure.


Q.21 Is there a cabinet or the like that can separate rust and paint film of dirty water?
A.21 I do not think there is a cabinet available in the market that can separate wastewater after use. I recommend to drain the wastewater to a separating layer equipped in a factory/ workshop.
